PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has urged for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be given time to decide on the position of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairperson.

He said "we understood the issue but we should give time because the prime minister is still in Langkawi and there needs to be a discussion amongst Pakatan Harapan."

Mahathir had said he will consider returning the PAC chairperson post to the opposition following pressure from Pakatan Harapan MPs, who said it was their electoral promise to do so.
