All Charges Against Jussie Smollett Have Been Dropped During a surprise court hearing in
Chicago on Tuesday, prosecutors decided to
drop all charges against the 'Empire' actor. Attorneys Tina Glandian and Patricia Brown Holmes The actor will forfeit the $10,000
he posted for bond as part of a
deferred prosecution deal. Prosecutors previously alleged that
Smollett hired two men to stage a
hate crime against himself. Smollett has maintained his innocence
from the beginning and pleaded not
