It has been reported that the president and Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki, who doubles as the Deputy Prime Minister, will be discussing the country's high unemployment rate and slowing growth.
During Tuesday's cabinet meeting,... the president also urged the government to up its efforts to boost the economy,... insisting that there are signs of improvement but some sectors still require an additional push. He pointed to the manufacturing sector as one area that requires attention.
And the president's schedule for the rest of the week is also on the economy.
He will be attending an event on Thursday where he will listen to the opinions of business leaders related to innovative growth.
And also this week,... the president will be traveling to regions outside the capital for the seventh time since he took office to help support regional economies and promote shared growth.
