A couple of American organizations are to visit North Korea for humanitarian work.
According to Voice of America on Tuesday, Christian Friends of Korea left for North Korea last Saturday and are to stay there for three weeks.
They received final approval for the visit the week before from the U.S. State Department.
Another group of Korean-American doctors say they'll visit in May after receiving approval recently.
This is the first time U.S. organizations are actually making way to the North... since U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, said late last year... that Washington will review its policies on travel bans for humanitarian purposes.
