A man was arrested mid-flight after he hurled abuse at airline staff on a Qantas flight, having yelled: "People like you are paedophiles!"

According to the filmer, the man had consumed alcohol in the airplane toilets before he became aggressive and punched a male crew member in the back during the Melbourne to Singapore flight on February 28.

The filmer described how the violent passenger was restrained: "The supervisor on board then called upon passengers and other crew to unite and place the man under arrest."

According to the filmer, the man was taken off the flight by Singaporean Police.
