British actors Joanna Lumley and Simon Callow read from Charles Dickens's novel, which Queen Victoria found "very interesting and cleverly written", The Old Curiosity Shop. Recorded in Highgate Cemetery on the 200th anniversary of the author's death.

Charles Dickens was an English writer and social critic living in Victorian London and the surrounding area. He wrote such enduringly celebrated works as The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, The Old Curiosity Shop, David Copperfield, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations.
