Chelsea Clinton was confronted in New York apparently over her remarks about Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Chelsea Clinton was confronted by a young woman who linked the recent mass shooting at New Zealand mosques to Clinton's past remark about Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar.
According to the Daily Mail, Clinton was at a New York University vigil for the victims of the massacre Friday when a student there approached the former first daughter at the event.
A video posted to social media shows the student emphatically telling Clinton in reference to the memorial: "This right here is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world. And I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deep inside. Forty-nine people died because of the rhetoric that you put out there."
The student was likely referring to Clinton's recent tweet supporting a message criticizing Omar's controversial comment about Israel.
"We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism," Clinton had tweeted at the time.
After being confronted by the student, Clinton remained calm and responded by saying, "I'm so sorry that you feel that way."
The incident sparked many social media reactions supporting Clinton.
"You don't have to agree with Clinton politically, but as a human who cares for others, it's disgusting the treatment she received today," wrote one tweeter.
Hours prior, Clinton had tweeted her condolence about the massacre.
"Heartbroken & horrified by the white nationalist terrorist attack during Jummah on the mosques and Muslim community in Christchurch," she wrote. "Keeping all affected by this tragedy in my heart and prayers. We need a global response to the global threat of violent white nationalism."
