कर्नाटक में बीजेपी ने जेडीएस चीफ और पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री एचडी देवेगौड़ा के सार्वजनिक मंच पर रोने पर तंज कसते हुए इसे पारिवारिक ड्रामा बताया है । बीजेपी ने कहा है कि कुमारस्वामी और उनका परिवार चुनाव से पहले इस तरह रोकर लोगों को भावनात्मक तौर पर जोड़ता है और बाद में वो लोग रोते है जिन्होंने इस परिवार को वोट दिया हो ।
