Dick's Sporting Goods Withdrawing
Firearms From All Locations The process will start with
hunting gear this summer in over 120 stores. In 2018, Dick's said it would
stop selling assault weapons. It followed news that the
Parkland, Florida gunman bought
a firearm from one of its stores. Sales have fallen since the announcements, but
CEO Ed Stack says the company is undeterred. Ed Stack, via CNBC New figures show that the chain's net income has
dropped nearly $14 million year-over-year. A company spokesman says that
a weaker U.S. gun market in general
has contributed to the drop. Currently, there are 729
Dick's Sporting Goods stores in the U.S.
