Emergency services and rescue workers rush to the scene of a collapsed building in Lagos.

In the video, hundreds of locals anxiously watch on as the rescue workers attempt to pull out pupils trapped by the debris.

Rescue efforts at the three-storey building are expected to continue into the night.

More than 40 people have been rescued so far. It is not known how many have died.

A primary school was on the top floor of the building.
