DGCA orders major airlines to ground Boeing 737 Max aircraft by 4 pm after Ethiopia plane crash: Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft has been grounded by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in the wake of the Ethiopian Airlines crash that claimed lives of 157 people on March 10, 2019. The ban on the aircraft was finally confirmed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation on late Tuesday via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
