Joe Biden spoke Tuesday at the International Association of Fire Fighters' legislative conference.
Former Vice President Joe Biden teased a 2020 presidential run on Tuesday, reports CNN. He told a cheering crowd gathered for the annual International Association of Fire Fighters' legislative conference: "I appreciate the energy you showed when I got up here. Save it a little longer, I may need it in a few weeks." Many then started chanting: "Run, Joe, Run!" "Be careful what you wish for," Biden further noted. If he does run, Biden will enter the race as one of the Democratic Party's frontrunners, with numerous polls placing him at the top.
Meanwhile, Trump has described Biden as his "dream" opponent for 2020. During an interview with CBS News, Trump was asked to weigh in on which Democrats he think will run. "Well, I dream, I dream about Biden. That's a dream," Trump said. "Look, Joe Biden ran three times. He never got more than 1 percent and President Obama took him out of the garbage heap, and everybody was shocked that he did. I'd love to have it be Biden."
