As the UK battens down the hatches due to the incoming adverse weather courtesy of Storm Gareth, big waves smash the Cornwall coast today (March 12).
In the small town of Porthleven, some brave residents ventured to the cliffs to witness the ferocity of the tides.
The Met Office tweeted: "[Storm Gareth] is forecast to bring strong winds and heavy rain to the UK later on Tuesday and into Wednesday."
