NewsX has accessed the Maharashtra government report appointed by CM Devendra Fadnavis to investigate misuse of Land Allotted to the Associated Journals Limited. The 20-page report indicts the company for violating the government resolution on the use of land for commercial purposes. The report also says that Additional Land was allotted to AJL in 1983 itself despite opposition from then Additional Collector. The report findings have come as a major embarrassment for the Congress which owns the AJL. The panel has asked the government to take legal action against the company.
