The terrorists, who stormed into Pathankot Air Force Base and killed seven Indian army personnel, were from Pakitan, said Sharad Kumar, Director General of National Investigative Agency (NIA). Confirming the reports that the terrorists who attacked Pathankot base came from Pakistan border NIA DG Sharad Kumar said that terrorists were in contact with their handlers in Pakistan. “The terrorists were from Pakistan, this can be said on basis of phone calls that were made,” said Sharad Kumar. “Three FIRs have been lodged so far in connection with Pathankot attack. We will provide them (Pakistan) evidence and expect cooperation from them,” he added.
