Supreme court has agreed to ban all diesel cars, suvs & vehicles over 2000cc from Delhi streets for 3 months on a trial basis. Hearing the petition of the diesel car dealers on the proposed ban, the SC noted that the rich just cannot go around in their big suvs polluting the environment.

The SC also indicated that environment tax on commercial vehicles entering Delhi will be doubledhas agreed to ban all diesel cars, suvs & vehicles over 2000cc from Delhi streets for 3 months on a trial basis.
