The old guards of Bharatiya Janata Party organized a meeting in the national capital to discuss the humiliating loss of BJP in Bihar. The veteran leaders released a statement following the meet, lashing out at the current leadership of the saffron party for failing to show accountability for their failure.

The participants of the meet were former Union Minister Arun Shourie, BJP patriarch Lal Krishna Advani, senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi and veteran politicians Shanta Kumar and Yashwant Sinha. The former BJP stalwarts have been neglected by the party ever since the the troika of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Arun Jaitley took over the reigns of the outfit.
