OROP standoff seems to be far from over. Living by its promise to deliver OROP before Diwali, government may have issued notification on OROP but the veterans are clearly not satisfied. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has reacted to the renewed protest by saying that the government has already fulfilled the main OROP promise. And not all the demands can be fulfilled to satisfy veterans.
