Inside sources from the home ministry and the police said that Ajit Doval, the national security adviser, devised the arrest of Chhota Rajan in Indonesia. It is claimed that this is a part of the strategy to hunt down India's most wanted mafia don Dawood Ibrahim. Doval has previous experience in handling Chhota Rajan and is said to have been using him to reach out to Dawood.
