Even as Delhi faces a Garbage Crisis due to 27 Safai Karamchari Unions going on a strike, the netas remain busy in a blamegame. This is the first time when workers across the capital are going on strike. During the last two times, only Safai Karamcharis of East Corporation stopped work after they didn't receive their salary for several months. In June, East Delhi witnessed a severe sanitation crisis which resulted in dumping up of 15,000 tonnes of garbage on main roads. While BJP has attacked the AAP for not releasing funds meant for sanitation workers, the Delhi government claims it is the MCD which has eaten up funds meant for them.
