Cracking the whip on his own cabinet colleagues, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said one cannot get away by merely stating that their statements were misinterpreted and they ought to be more careful while speaking to the media. Even though he apologized, the opposition has refused to buy VK Singh’s apology. Union Minister VK Singh was caught in the midst of a storm for his dog analogy on Dalit killing in Faridabad. While the Opposition is demanding resignation of VK Singh, AAP will file an FIR against him today. Even the SC/ST commission has decided to take suo motu cognizance of his remarks and has decided to serve him a notice. Not only the opposition, VK Singh is also facing flak from within the party & allies. Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the remark exposes Singh’s feudal mindset.
