Congress has reacted sharply to government's decision to discontinue postal stamps issued in memory of former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and called it an attempt to erase memory of two national icons. In a scathing attack on PM Modi, the Congress said that the government was trying to distort the history.
