Even as the nation is still mourning the loss of Kannada litterateur MM Kalburgi, another Kannada Scholar has been threatened. KS Bhagwan, who was named as the next target in a hate tweet by a right wing fundamentalist just 24 hours after Kalbrugi's death, has now received a threat letter. The letter says that 'an act of revenge by a snake will last for 12 years. You are next. No police security will save you.' and was sent to Bhagwan's residence. Security has now been beefed up outside his home.
