The state of Tamil Nadu will witness state-wide demonstrations as the BJP hits the streets demanding prohibition and closure of state run liquor outlets. The state opposition has united against the AIADMK government seeking complete liquor ban. Their move has put the Jayalalitha government in a fix as liquor remains one of the biggest revenue generators for the state. The AIADMK has been calling the stir as mere theatrics by the opposition to score brownie points ahead of the 2016 polls.
