NEW DELHI: Pakistan has summoned the Indian envoy after saying it had shot down an Indian "spy" drone, a claim that has been denied by New Delhi.

Sources say Pakistan wants to lodge its strong protest with Indian High Commissioner TCA Raghavan over "intrusion into its airspace."

The Indian military has strongly denied the allegation.
