The much awaited Chennai Metro rail passenger service was inaugurated today bringing smiles of relief to the Chennai commuters but the opposition is not smiling. while the CM Jayalalithaa inaugurated the metro today, DMK has claimed credit for the project. Remember the chennai metro was commissioned in 2009 by the then DMK govt and DMK leaders have now alleged that the Jaya Govt did not launch the metro despite it being ready in December last year itself.
