An eight-year-old girl fell into a borewell while she was playing at her family's agricultural farm in Rajasthan's Sikar district on Saturday. The girl is believed to be stuck at 30 feet in the 400-feet deep borewell. The Army and NDRF have been roped in to rescue the girl. According to police, it happened around 8 am on Saturday. The girl has been identified as Sunita Kumari. Her father had got the borewell dug up at his farm a few days ago. He had covered it with a bolder. Sunita was playing near the borewell. An eyewitness said that she got tired and sat on the boulder. The stone got displaced and she fell into the borewell. A tractor driver saw her falling into it. He told her family members and the police.
