It's a shocking disclosure in the ongoing Lalit Modi Scandal. Documents procured under the Right to Information Act have revealed that the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government appointed Union Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj's daughter and husband as government lawyers. In an order by the State Law department dated february 27, 2013, the government appointed Sushma's daughter Bansuri Swaraj as junior advocate. Through another order dated october 10, 2010, Sushma's husband, Swaraj Kaushal, was appointed as senior advocate.
