Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday expressed his deep anguish over killing of 20 Army personnel in Manipur by militants and asserted that the sacrifice made by soldiers will not go in vain. "Deeply distressed after the news of attack on Army convoy in Manipur. We will not allow the sacrifices of our soldiers to go waste," he said. The government has asked the Army to launch massive counter-terror operations to sweep the area. It is also learnt that Ulfa and NSCN (K) have claimed responsibility for the attack.
