Pakistan lodged a protest with India over the alleged killing of an unarmed civilian who according to Pakistani officials had inadvertently crossed the border to the Indian side.

Amanat Ali was cutting wheat in his field in Shakargarh at the Working Boundary on Friday when he stepped across the border and was killed by the Indian troops, according to Pakistan Rangers.
