Srinagar: Separatist leaders Yasin Malik and Masarat Alam were detained by police while they were on their way to Tral, according to news reports on Tuesday.

The two leaders were enroute to Tral a day after a suspected militant was killed by the Army in the forests of the area in south Kashmir's Pulwana district.
