Soon after Coast Guard DIG BK Loshali was caught on camera saying he ordered the blowing up of the Pakistani boat, the Indian government ordered probe into his remarks on Wednesday.
According to sources, the Coast Guard DIG has been a serial offender in disciplinary matters. He was previously pulled up for consuming too much alcohol. He was also removed from operational command of a ship in 2008.
