In an yet another incident similar to the death of La Marts student Rouvanjit Rawla five years ago in Kolkata, an alleged suicide of a class ninth student of Kendriya Vidyalaya II in Salt Lake last week have put school authorities in a spot.

Kamalika Das, a 17-year-old student of Kolkata's Kendriya Vidyalaya II in Salt Lake, was just another bright student of city bubbling with life like any other girl of her age usually is. Until, she decided to end it abruptly on 20th January by jumping from the terrace of a 7-storey building.
