At least 110 people have died after consuming spurious liquor in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It's a large scale tragedy, and the political class is slowly waking up to it now. Priyanka Gandhi made the first attack by seeking accountability from the up govt. On Friday, as the death toll kept mounting, UP CM Yogi Adityanath ordered a crackdown on the illicit liquor mafia in the state. A sit headed by ADG railways Sanjay Singhal has been constituted. The co of Saharanpur and Kushinagar have been suspended.
