#AcidRain: Acid attack on 15-year old in West Bengal

A 15-year-old girl was today attacked with acid and then stabbed by a man who often stalked her, in South Dinajpur district in Raiganj, West Bengal, police said.
The incident occured at Sevoke Pally.
The girl a student of Class XII of Ramkrishna Vidya Bhavan, was going for private tuition in the afternoon when she was attacked, police said.
The girl, who was rushed to Raiganj District Hospital, said the man would often stalk her, they said.
The miscreant fled taking advantage of the foggy weather, they added.
The girl's family, which resides in North Dinajpur, lodged a First Information Report or FIR with the Raiganj police station.
