A girl was openly harassed in broad daylight by a youth at Sector 58 in NOIDA on Friday afternoon. The youth later tried to 'kidnap' the girl as she and her friend tried to fight off the goon.

The entire episode was recorded on camera and has left the entire city in a state of shock.

The UP Police was conspicuous with its absence and when questioned gave a bizarre
excuse.

In its defence, the police had said that their PCR Van had apparently run out of petrol and hence they were not able to reach the spot of the incident.
