HRD Ministry seeks Scindia ragging file by evening

The Union HRD ministry has sought a detailed report from Madhya Pradesh education department on the Scindia school ragging incident in 15 days.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Child Rights Commission took suo moto cognisance of the report of a TV channel on ragging in The Scindia School of Gwalior.

"Action will be shown as per the protection of children from Sexual offences act," Vibhanshu Joshi, member of state child rights commission said.

14-year-old Adarsh, son of Bihar cooperative minister, was found in a semi-conscious state in his hostel room at the residential school on August 20. He was taken to a private hospital for treatment and when his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to New Delhi's Apollo Hospital.
