Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Monday assured the refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 wars that their problems will be resolved by the Centre in a time-bound manner.

On the second day of visit today, Shah will meet the displaced villagers who had to migrate from the border areas after ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

However, he said he cannot guarantee voting rights to those who took shelter here from the other side of the border as only the state government can make that call.

Shah reportedly said that India will give a “befitting reply” to the ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
