Kashmiri separatists have termed “unfortunate” India’s decision to call off foreign secretary level talks with Pakistan scheduled next week, the move seen as New Delhi’s sending out strong message that its high commissioner’s engagement with them (Kashmiri separatists) was unacceptable. “The decision to call of foreign secretary-level talks is highly unfortunate,” said Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. He added, “This (Pakistan high commissioner Abdul Basit’s meetings with Kashmiri separatist leadership) was not any new development.
