UPSC aspirants run riot in North Delhi

There was chaos in north Delhi's Timarpur on Wednesday night after UPSC aspirants, who were protesting against the Commission at Nehru Vihar in Mukherjee Nagar, clashed with police. As police tried to disperse the students, a group of them became violent and started pelting stones. They allegedly torched two buses and a police kiosk.

Fire officials rushed three tenders to the spot. Police had to resort to lathicharge and lob tear gas shells to control the mob. There was a group of 500 creating pandemonium, police said.
