At least nine children have been severely injured after a private bus collided with an auto on the Pathankot-Amritsir road.

According to reports, the bus was coming from the wrong side at very high speed as it collided with the auto head on. The children were travelling in the auto were heading to their school. The driver of the auto was killed on the spot.

The driver of the bus has been arrested.

Angry crowd has resorted to vandalism and have set the bus on fire.
