The chairman of the Bangalore school where a six-year-old child was raped earlier this month was arrested on Wednesday.
Activists have slammed school authorities claiming they are shielding the culprits.
Protests continued today against the shocking rape inside the school premises. Protesters blamed the school management and staff members for inaction, as well as the state government for its seeming indifference to the horrific crime.
Meanwhile, even as parents of children studying at the east Bangalore school where the 6-year-old was sexually assaulted on July 2 want it to reopen so that their kids can continue with their studies, a investigation shows that the school has committed several violations since its inception.
