Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh hit out at the Narendra Modi government over the suspension of five officials of the Delhi University for leaking Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani's educational qualification deatils. He even questioned the transparency in the government.

Singh tweeted, "Five officials of Delhi University suspended for leaking HRD Minster's educational qualification details! Does this government believe in transparency."
