The National Investigation Agency made fresh arrests in the Patna blasts case on Wednesday. Four suspects including a man Haidar have been arrested from Ranchi.
Haidar is believed to be head of the Ranchi module of the Indian Mujahideen, which carried out the Patna blasts. Those arrested also include Mujibullah, Numan and Taufiq. They have all been nabbed from the Sithio village on the outskirts of Ranchi.
These arrests were made with help from Tehsin Akhtar alias Monu, the number 2 in the Indian Mujahideen, who is already in police custody. Akhtar had accompanied the NIA team to Ranchi.
