The lack of political knowledge of the actor-turned-politician Nagma came to the fore today when she confused late 'shehnai' maestro Bismillah Khan with Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who is much in controversies nowadays saying that the J&K separatist leader is a 'Bharat Ratna'.

Taking a dig at the whole 'Giriraj Singh episode' of sending all those opposing Narendra Modi to Pakistan after the General Elections are over, Cine-star turned Congress hopeful, Nagma stated, "Geelani ji desh ke zimmedar vyakti hain, jinko Bharat Ratna mila hai, toh Giriraj ji ke hisaab se unko bhi Pakistan chale jana chahiye (Geelani ji is a responsible person who has got Bharat Ratna...as per Giriraj ji he should also go to Pakistan)," Nagma made the faux pas during a press conference in Raipur where she had gone to campaign for the party.
