Even as Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena on Tuesday denied reports about any rift with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), it has sought clarification from the saffron party over its stand on the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
Sena has warned the BJP that it does not come clean over MNS, it will field all 48 candidates from Maharashtra.
Party insiders have indicated that the meeting between BJP's Nitin Gadkar with MNS chief Raj Thackeray had pushed the BJP in a piquant situation over its relationship with Shiv Sena, considering the MNS is Sena's rival in Maharashtra.
