Despite mounting pressure, Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti on Tuesday refused to depose before the National Commission for Women after it summoned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader over complaint of misbehaviour with Ugandan women.

Speaking to reporters, Bharti said, "I have not received any summons so far. I have just heard about it through media. Until I receive any summon, there is no question of me deposing before the commission."

It may be noted that Bharti, along with AAP supporters, had gone to raid a house in Malviya Nagar's Khirki Extension last week, after receiving complaints that a drug and sex racket was being run from the premises.
