The Delhi Police has sent a report on Kejriwal's protest to Home Ministry. Sources say that the Delhi Police feels that AAP supporters are provoking them, but the policemen have been advised to show restraint.

Sources say the Delhi Police is monitoring the situation and no decision has been taken yet on forcible eviction. The MHA is willing to give Kejriwal time till Jan 24 after which the process of sanitising the parade areas begins, sources say.
