Former Union Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader MK Alagiri on Saturday met party supremo and his father M Karunanidhi at the latter's residence at Gopalapuram in Chennai.
Before the meeting, Alagiri said he is visiting Karunanidhi to greet him on the occasion of Pongal and not to discuss the political tussle within the DMK.

"I spoke to my father not on political issues but family affairs. He asked me about his grandchildren who are presently in the US," Alagiri told reporters after the meeting.
