BJP MLA Jagdish Mukhi today filed his nomination for the post of Delhi Assembly Speaker, election for which is scheduled tomorrow. "The party has decided to contest the post of Speaker and proposed my name. I have filed my nomination papers," Mukhi said. The Speaker's election will be held a day after the trust vote in the Assembly today. AAP has announced the name of its MLA M S Dhir as a candidate for the post of Speaker in the Delhi Assembly. The Aam Aadmi Party today braced for a fight in the election to the post of Delhi Assembly Speaker, naming first-time MLA MS Dhir as its candidate, while senior Congress MLA Mateen Ahmad will be the pro-tem speaker.
